The sand.
And, finally, bird tracks.
The bird tracks were the last straw. The sand, the waves and the wonder of it all was just to appealing. I stopped paying attention for just a moment, and looked over to find the 3-year-old playing in the sand... and the camera, well, anyone know how to get sand out of a point and shoot lens motor?
Upcoming maintainance aside, it was well worth getting to see her perspective on these quickly fading memories. Give a kid a camera, and you literally get to watch thier world unfold!
